Who We Are
Centre for Research Cooperation (CRC) is a private limited company based in Arusha, Tanzania, incorporated in October 2019. CRC provides a platform that supports researchers, students and other stakeholders working on or studying conservation of natural resources in Tanzania through the provision of comprehensive and tailored research facilitation services. We pride ourselves in providing services that empower individuals and organizations to conduct impactful research in the field of conservation. We facilitate collaboration, provide access to resources and expertise, and offer customized support that ensures the success of conservation projects.
In addition to facilitating research endeavors, CRC takes an active role in implementing its own nature conservation projects with the support of partners and donors by designing and executing initiatives aimed at preserving Tanzania’s natural resources and biodiversity. By actively engaging in on-the-ground conservation efforts, CRC demonstrates its commitment to making a tangible impact on environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation in Tanzania.

Our Mission
To carry out nature conservation initiatives and provide research facilitation services to both local and foreign researchers through project administration, capacity building, and legal and regulatory compliance.
Our Structure
The Centre for Research Cooperation (CRC) in Arusha, Tanzania, operates under a structured organizational framework designed to ensure effective research facilitation and conservation support services. The organization is led by the managing director, who provides overall strategic leadership, oversees operations, and ensures alignment with CRC’s vision and mission. The Administration Department coordinates research facilitation permits, manages projects, and handles human resource functions to ensure accountability and smooth operations. The Finance Department manages financial planning, accounting, procurement, and logistics and ensures legal and regulatory compliance with relevant government institutions and authorities. Additionally, the Information and Communications Unit is responsible for managing project information, digital platforms, knowledge dissemination, and partnership communications. This organizational structure enables CRC to efficiently support research activities and promote sustainable natural resource conservation initiatives in Tanzania.
